All of ‘Eastington.website’ sites are operated on a voluntary and charitable basis and carry no advertising other than specifically placed in the Eastington Community News magazine by our supporters. This advertising just pays for the paper and printing of the magazine and the web hosting charges. All other functions are undertaken entirely by unpaid volunteers and no profits are taken by anyone.
We do not attempt to ‘personalise’ your experience of these sites and no personal information is collected or stored anywhere. If there is a ‘contact form’ on a site, the details that you enter are relayed via email to the ECN team and are never used for any purpose other than the stated one.
However, the sites are powered by well known website ‘engines’ WordPress and Jetpack which sometimes use cookies for purely functional purposes. They do also collect some statistical information which is totally anonymous. This is only used to tell us counts of how and which pages are accessed.
